iPhone Apps

Poke A Keith

My first full fledged game on ANY platform premiers on the iPhone with Poke A Keith! Poke A Keith was kept very simple and I made sure I concentrated on the fun and challenge. The depth of the scorecards for each game offers lots of replay value where you can challenge yourself and your friends to a lot of different scoring categories.

iPregnancyTest

I entered the iPhone App Store for the first time with iPregnancyTest. It's a fun little fake pregnancy test/descision maker. Complete with a Baby-Daddy Generator and Coin-Flip mode. It was really a 'learning' app, but I made sure to apply all my normal polish in the process!

Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons was created as a fun little app that lets people create exactly what they'd think they could. Pros & Cons lists! I concentrated on making the app really simple and intuitive so it's really easy to use productively as well as extremely fun. Want to try before you buy? Download the FREE version now! It's fully featured but only allows you to manage one list.

Secret Browser

The iPhone is a great tool for browsing the web, but it lacks support to browse the web without recording your history or cookies for that session. In comes Secret Browser. Every time you exit Secret Browser, it cleans up after itself like it never happened. There are a few browsers out there that do similar things, but I saw a lack of any that were really built well, affordable and discrete. So I took my time and slapped a fun little price of FREE on it. Enjoy!

Facebook Applications

Halo 3 Players

My first full, real life, actual project. A labor of love. It's a Facebook application that shares your Halo 3 information with your friends. Includes leaderboards for a large variety of stats as well as challenges, profile boxes, profile tabs, info sections, recently played games, screenshots, and a whole lot more. If you've ever found one of the other Halo 3 applications on Facebook, you'll soon realize how aweful they all are in comparison. Check it out if you're a Halo 3 fan on Facebook!

Ruby on Rails

has_many_friends *

has_many_friends was developed during the first project I needed a good friend system for. It will probably be under development indefinitely since I am constantly learning and will probably find ways of making it more efficient. If anyone would like to clue me in to any of their ideas, I'd love to hear them as well. This plugin provides for self-referential friends through the use of has_many :through.

mephisto_ajaxyxml

Parses an XML file from the internet and formats it any way you'd like on your blog. This one is different in the fact that it uses AJAX to fetch the XML and parse it, meaning that you don't have to destroy your cache in order to impliment good dynamic content into your mephisto blog. Currently doesn't work with RSS feeds (I'll work on that for the future) but it does work with smaller content like your twitter status or last.fm playlists...

mephisto_relative_time

Display a date/time string in a more 'human' form. An easy to use liquid filter that takes any date/time string and converts it in to an easier to read estimation of the date.

mephisto_twitter **

This is a quick edit of the "mephisto lastfm plugin":http://svn.danwebb.net/external/rails/plugins/mephisto_lastfm/ that was created by "Dan Webb":http://www.danwebb.net. It allows for easy integration of your twitter timelines into your mephisto blog with a simple liquid tag.

Other Stuff

trac_skittlish_theme ***

I'm not a huge fan of the default theme for Trac and since I like the clean look of the Skittlish theme that I use here, I figured I'd make a semi-port. It ties in well with my theme, but doesn't include the side bar because it's not really necessary in Trac.

* This hasn't been tested with 2.x but was basically developed while using edge rails. It SHOULD still work.
** Has not been updated for 0.8 of mephisto. Use AjaxyXML instead.
*** Has not been updated in some time. No idea if it still works.
